Monday, June 28 - to Pendleton, Oregon

We got up pretty leisurely this morning since we only had a four hour drive to Pendleton, OR. We are camping at the Wildhorse Casino and RV Park, run by the Umatilla Native Americans. We are here because it is pretty cheap for full hookups. I doubt we even go into the casino except to eat their buffet at lunch tomorrow. Then Wednesday, we have a long drive to Lynden, Washington for one night. The landscape in Oregon looked like a moonscape for a good ways because we did not see any trees and no houses. Then we started seeing some trees and snow-capped mountains. The casino is actually at the bottom of a six mile, six percent grade from a mountain. That is it for now!
