Day 19 - Friday, June 11 - Yellowstone, West Yellowstone

We woke up shivering. The outside temp was 35 degrees, and it was 40 in the camper. We thought it was going to be a bad weather day, but the sun came out. We decided to make a day trip to Yellowstone and West Yellowstone. We had a good day, and I took lots of photos. We will go back to Yellowstone for at least one more day. We finally saw some fly fishermen on the Fire Hole River and the Madison River. Also, when we passed through a couple of snow flurries and some sleet, but the temp was 43. It was still cool to see it snowing. We have seen lots of snow on the ground, but this was the first we have seen falling. It is supposed to get as cold again tonight. I am so glad I have two quilts! We stay cuddly. For supper we had chicken and dumplings, a good cold weather comfort food! We have been very pleased with our solar panel. Even when it is cloudy, it still charges (though, I am sure, not as much).
